CASES is a software package for collecting survey data based on structured
questionnaires, using telephone or face-to-face interviewing as well
as self-administered procedures. It is developed, distributed and supported
by the Computer-assisted Survey Methods (CSM) Program at the University
of California at Berkeley.

e-survey allows the design and execution of
online surveys.
Analyzer hand-held dial issued to each group
member. The group leader presents questions or visual stimuli and each
group member registers his or her response via the dial.

WWW Survey Assistant

After you enter your survey
questions, WWW Survey Assistant first writes an HTML document which
will present your questionnaire. Next, WWW Survey Assistant writes a
PERL CGI program that is executed each time a user submits their response
to your survey through their WWW browser.
Allows WYSIWYG editing.

Data Collection Protocol, Weighting and Estimation.

PANEL: Selection
of panel members: Probability sampling. Demographics: Race, age, gender,
education and income. Gives free internet access to panel members with
interactive TV device. Panelists have to fill out profile surveys. Based
on those surveys, subsequent surveys are sent.
COMMENTS:
Restricted Access, can request a password by mailing the request to
admin. Doesn’t’ specify requirements for receiving password.
Knowledge Networks does research for government, academic, and non-profit
